Abstract

Combining hyperpolarization methods developed to increase NMR sensitivity with routine autosamplers, while maintaining the throughput and quality expected from modern chemical analysis, is difficult. We introduce an NMR probe with an integrated light source that allows autosampler-compatible hyperpolarized chemical analysis using the standard 5 mm NMR tube. The performance of a fully integrated photo-CIDNP hyperpolarization probe is demonstrated by optimizing the 19F signal enhancement under autosampler operation. This system increases the throughput and minimizes human intervention for photo-CIDNP hyperpolarization without disrupting the conventional automated solution-state NMR workflow.
