Selenium-promoted methane pyrolysis over molten Ni–Bi alloys: interfacial restructuring and electronic regulation

Se promotes methane pyrolysis in molten Ni–Bi alloys through interfacial restructuring and electronic modulation of Ni. This process induces a d-band downshift, which accelerates dehydrogenation and enhances the catalyst’s resistance to coking.
