Selective growth of iodine-retaining quasi-1D BiSeI from a BiI 3 -derived selenium route

Selective shallow selenium conversion yields iodine-retaining quasi-1D BiSeI nanowires (NWs) from BiI 3 . The resulting devices exhibit polarization-sensitive photoresponse at 638 nm with an anisotropy ratio (AR) of ≈1.5.
