Secretory carcinoma of the breast – A rare case report
Nehal A. Elbadawy, Sally G. Kholief, Fatema O. BadawyABSTRACT
Secretory carcinoma of the breast is one of the rare malignant variants of breast carcinoma which was first manifested in children but has also been described in adults lately. It is a low-grade tumor with an incidence less than 0.15% of all breast malignancies. Being a rare tumor, confirmation using immunohistochemical stains is mandatory. We are presenting a case of 17-years old young female who presented with a retro-areolar breast lesion whose radiology was in favor of a benign lesion. Final diagnosis of secretory breast carcinoma was reached after excision and immunohistochemistry.
