Screening and Early Detection

Sensors are effectively utilized in the diagnosis and imaging of various diseases. The ability to detect viruses rapidly and straightforwardly, without the need for a specialized expert, is of great significance. Early diagnosis is particularly crucial for viruses, as timely detection helps prevent their spread and facilitates efficient control. In recent years, technological advancements have enabled the integration of sensor systems for the rapid and convenient detection and imaging of viruses. The incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI), smartphones, the internet of things (IoT) and electronic devices into biosensors has further enhanced the reliability and accuracy of virus detection. This chapter focuses on screening techniques and approaches for the early detection of viruses using sensor technologies.
