This study aimed to examine the role of school theatre in promoting educational values among students in Jordanian schools from the perspectives of theatre education teachers. The study adopted a descriptive survey design, and data were collected using a questionnaire developed for this purpose. The questionnaire was administered to a sample of 61 male and female theatre education teachers selected through simple random sampling. The findings showed that the role of school theatre in promoting educational values among students was perceived to be moderate. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in teachers’ perceptions attributable to gender, years of experience, academic qualification, or school type. Based on these findings, the study recommends that the Ministry of Education strengthen the role of school theatre by providing appropriate theatre spaces in schools and appointing specialized theatre education teachers. The study also highlights the importance of integrating theatre activities into school life as a means of supporting students’ moral, social, and educational development.
