School-Campus Partnerships

Abstract

In Chapter 8 the focus is on how to build school/campus-community partnerships to address abuse and to educate students and the broader public. In doing so I provide a case study of the College Brides Walk, an initiative that has been held in South Florida since 2011. The emphasis is on holistic campaigns that integrate community partners, allow students opportunities for service-learning, and engage not just women and girls but men and boys as well.
