Sarah Kofman III

Abstract

In this sister chapter to the previous one, we move through the various projects on which the ‘philosophy in-deed’ group of Sarah Kofman, Jean-Luc Nancy, Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe, and Jacques Derrida collaborated. This sees us addressing in turn the following: a Strasbourg seminar series, a special issue of Poétique (1975), various prominent conferences held at Cerisy-la-Salle, Normandy, including Nietzsche aujourd’hui (1972) and Les Fins de l’homme (1980), journal and book versions of the Première livraison imprint (late 1970s), the successful long-running book collection La philosophie en effet (early 1970s–2020s), and the Group for research on philosophical teaching and the Estates General of Philosophy (both late 1970s).
