Aleksandr Dzhumok, Klim Kozyrev

The purpose of the study is to examine the indicators of rotation in the knee joints of tennis players at different stages of sports training. Research methods and organization. The following research methods were applied: analysis and synthesis of scientific-methodological literature, goniometry, and mathematical-statistical data processing. The study was conducted at the Russian University of Sport «GTSOLIFK», at the Department of Theory and Methodology of Tennis, Table Tennis, and Badminton. A total of 40 individuals aged 7–18 years who are undergoing systematic sports training participated in the study. During the study, indicators of external and internal rotation in the knee joints were examined, both during active and passive execution. Research results and conclusions. The conducted study practically confirms the change in the functional state of the knee joints during systematic tennis training, which, in turn, highlights the pedagogical feasibility of searching for and experimentally testing means of preventing and correcting the functional state of the knee joints in the process of training the sports reserve in tennis.
