RhD血型抗原免疫机制及其对输血安全的影响(Immune Mechanism of RhD Blood Group Antigen and Its Impacton Blood Transfusion Safety)

刘刚 Gang Liu
Abstract:As one of the important antigen markers on the surface of red blood cells, the RhD blood group system plays a crucialrole in ensuring transfusion safety. This study will provide a detailed analysis from three perspectives: molecular structure, immuno-logical properties, and clinical applications, focusing on the relationship between RhD and human physiological functions, as well asits performance in blood compatibility. The transmembrane protein encoded by the RHD gene has highly conserved characteristics, giving it strong immunogenic properties. It can trigger the body to produce antibodies specifically targeting a particular epitope, known as 'anti-D' antibodies. If RhD-positive individuals encounter red blood cells from a foreign source containing this antigen forthe first time, it can easily lead to serious complications such as hemolytic transfusion reactions or hemolytic disease of the newborn. To effectively prevent safety risks caused by different blood types, the medical community has established standardized screeningprocedures and uses modern molecular biology techniques to make detection methods more accurate and reliable. Understandingthe immunological mechanisms of the RhD antigen is significant both theoretically and practically for improving transfusion strate-gies and clinical safety. Future research should focus on the regulation of RhD expression and the development of efficient, precisenext-generation detection technologies to support the design of personalized medical solutions.
