Reversible molecular rearrangement of nickel phthalocyanine between α- and x-forms in a crystalline solid by chemical treatment
Ayane Umeda, Taro Takahashi, Ayaka Oyama, Misaki Horinouchi, Tetsu Sato, Tomoyuki Akutagawa, Kiyonori Takahashi, Masaki MatsudaChemical reduction of x-Ni(Pc)I produced α-Ni(Pc), and x-Ni(Pc)I could be reproduced by exposing α-Ni(Pc) to I 2 vapor. Their similar parallel columnar structures enable a chemically reversible structural transformation in the solid state.
