Reverse Diagnostic Thinking for Aortic Coarctation Using the Renal Artery Bilateral Parvus et Tardus as a Clue: A Case Report

ABSTRACT

In young patients with hypertension or stroke, the presence of bilateral parvus et tardus waveforms in the renal arteries should prompt reverse tracing to rule out aortic coarctation. This simple ultrasound clue enables early, non‐invasive screening and prevents missed diagnoses.
