<title>BACKGROUND</title>Rapid adoption and scale-up of new anti-TB regimens requires evidence on efficacy and safety, but also on end-user preferences, implementation barriers, regulatory hurdles, and local conditions. The aim of this study is to describe the extent to which the questions included in a global end-user survey address priority research questions identified through a Delphi process.
<title>METHODS</title>We used a methodological mapping approach to examine the extent to which questions included in a TB survey and interviews to patients, health care workers, and experts align with seven research questions identified through a recent Delphi process. The content of the survey and interviews was systematically compared and matched against the priority research questions to assess its analytical capacity.
<title>RESULTS</title>The survey contains data relevant to all seven research questions: three with full analytical capacity; three with substantial but incomplete capacity; and one with partial capacity.
<title>CONCLUSION</title>Mapping and matching exercise indicates that the FAST-TB survey and structured interviews can help identify where additional qualitative, economic, or policy research will be needed to support new regimen development, adoption, and scale-up.
