Requirements of BS EN 1997 (2004 and 2007)

Design approaches and design considerations of BS EN 1997-1:2004 of pile foundations are presented. Ultimate and serviceability limit states of axially loaded and transversely (laterally) loaded piles of BS EN 1997-1:2004 of pile foundations are defined in BS EN 1997-1:2004. Illustrative example of a pile in compression from ground test results is included.
