Red-emitting chemosensor detects superoxide anion in models of myocardial hypertrophy

An endoplasmic reticulum-targeted dicyanoisophorone-based fluorescent probe DO was developed for superoxide anion detection, enabling real-time imaging of oxidative stress in Ang II-induced myocardial hypertrophy in living mice.
