Recyclable metal–organic framework-confined electron donor–acceptor catalysis enables visible-light-driven enantioselective α-alkylation of β-ketocarbonyls with α-halo aryl ketones

The Zn–MOF confines EDA complexes with α-chloro aryl ketones, organizing weak donor–acceptor interactions to promote α-carbonyl radical generation. Coupling with a chiral primary amine enables enantioselective α-alkylation of β-ketoesters.
