Drawbacks of antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) have prompted the development of peptidomimetics that incorporate structural modifications while retaining key AMP mechanisms. Peptoids are promising peptidomimetics that mimic key AMP features while offering greater resistance to enzymatic degradation.
