Recent Advances in the Transition Metal-Catalyzed Intramolecular Carboalkoxylation of Alkynes
Linjun Qi, Bo Zhou, gongde wu, Long-Wu YeCarboalkoxylation of alkynes is an efficient methodology for constructing various chemical bonds in one step. Among this, transition metal-catalyzed intramolecular carboalkoxylation of alkynes represents a highly effective strategy for the synthesis of a diverse range of valuable hetero-and carbocycles. This review comprehensively summarizes the latest advancements in intramolecular carboalkoxylation of alkynes, which is organized according to the reaction mechanisms, including 1,2-carboalkoxylation and 1,1carboalkoxylation. In each section, the reactions are further classified by different cyclization and migration pathways, such as exo-dig cyclization/[1,3]-migration, endo-dig cyclization/[1,3]-migration, exo-dig cyclization/[1,2]-migration, and endo-dig cyclization/[1,2]-migration.The reaction mechanism, product generality, and potential application are discussed where possible.
