RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN ORGANIC FRUIT PRODUCTION SYSTEMS

The main goals of organic farming are to improve soil health, cut pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, protect the environment, ensure the welfare of animals and humans, and maintain biodiversity along with ecosystem sustainability. Organic farming includes a variety of activities, such as ecofriendly crop and livestock production, better food quality, and restoring soil health through practices like composting and crop rotation. Modern organic farming is also adopting new trends, including regenerative agriculture, the use of precision agricultural tools like drones and IoT, rising global market demand, climate-resilient practices, improvements in certification and traceability, and strengthening farmer skills. In summary, organic farming provides a valuable and sustainable approach to agriculture.
