Rebuilding the Workforce: The Impact of North Carolina’s Registered Nurse (RN) Refresher Program and Curriculum Transformation on Nursing Practice

All modules were revised and costs reduced, resulting in more than a 55% enrollment increase and 45 license reactivations, demonstrating that academia and practice partners can collaborate to address North Carolina’s nursing workforce shortage.
