Pushing Boundaries

This editorial introduction explains the rationale for this journal and its place in the current research landscape of late antique studies. While this field has “exploded”, different specialisms and disciplines continue to approach the period through their own specific lenses. We contend that further conversations across these boundaries and over a long late antiquity will be key to advancing the field and offers this journal as a home for these interdisciplinary conversations.
