PULSE GENERATOR APPLICATIONS IN OPTICAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

Shuhad Awad
This study designed various optical communication links and observed their transmission line results. The type of modulator, laser power, source frequency, and length of the optical transmission line were factors influencing data transmission quality considered in this work using program simulation OptiSystem 18.1. Fast data transfer over long distances is achieved by optical communication. Simulations with OptiSystem 18 further advanced the implementation of data transmission. Changed simulations to attain the maximum possible Q-factor to describe optimal values based on pulse bit generator, operating frequency, fiber length, and laser source power. Obtained results describe, and optimal values of the parameters highlight the significance of precise parameter tuning for enhancing signal integrity and minimizing transmission losses. It investigates the trade-offs between different setups to strike a middle when making performance work with energy savings. The use of the study in IoT (Internet of Things) and smart systems was evaluated.
