Publication Trends of Aitihya - The Heritage: Multi-Lingual Research Journal on Indology: A Bibliometric Study

Aitihya-The Heritage, a multi-lingual research Journal on Indology, pertaining to the discipline of humanities, which has been publishing by Aitihya Samstha Foundation. The present study covers articles published in the journal Aitihya-The Heritage for the last 10 years i.e. from 2015 to 2024. During this period a total number of 234 articles have been published in its 20 issues. The bibliographical details of each article have been collected from the print copy of the journal. It is found that the number of articles in its issues have been increased over the years. The highest numbers of articles are published in English language, male authors are dominant compared to their female counterparts, collaboration among authors is very weak, highest contributing institute is from Gauhati University, Assam, India. The keywords and key concepts derived from the articles have been categorised as per the Main Classes of Dewey Decimal Classification system and analysis are done accordingly. Amongst all the subjects the highest numbers of articles are found on Literature followed by language, linguistics & phonetics.
