Professional Commitment and Ethical Practices Related to Patient Rights Among Nurses

Objective: This study aimed to examine the nurses' professional commitment levels and their ethical behaviors in protecting patient rights. Materials and Methods: The study included 228 nurses from a research hospital. Data were collected using the Nursing Professional Commitment Scale and the Ethical Behavior Scale for Protecting Patient Rights. Descriptive statistics, t-tests, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis H, ANOVA, and correlation analyses were used for data analysis. Results: The mean professional commitment score was 69.75 ± 12.69, and the mean ethical behavior score was 115.95 ± 14.94.
