We determined the configurations of [2.2.2]-cryptand/KF/ThrH + and permethylated β-cyclodextrin/KF/AAH + (perm-CD/KF/AAH + , AA = Thr, Trp, Ser) host–guest complexes in solution by examining the characteristic 19 F peak positions.
