Yongyue Ma, Xiaoxia Cao, Yuhang ZhangAbstract
Objective
The severe and competitive new employment situation brings continuous psychological pressure to college students, triggering negative occupational emotions and chaotic mental states, which seriously hinder the improvement of their mental health. This study explores the practical paths of career value adaptation and occupational psychological emotion construction, aiming to ease employment-related psychological pressure and stabilize students’ mental health status.
Subjects and Methods
This study selects college students facing graduation and employment as research subjects. It adopts questionnaire surveys and empirical analysis to investigate their current career value cognition, occupational psychological pressure and mental state, and summarizes the deficiencies of existing mental health guidance and career education work.
Results
Misaligned career values are the core cause of students’ persistent employment psychological pressure and negative occupational emotions. Scientific career value adaptation can effectively relieve psychological pressure, correct negative cognitive biases, stabilize fluctuating mental states, and significantly enhance students’ overall mental health level.
Conclusions
Reasonable career value adaptation and targeted occupational emotion construction are effective ways to solve college students’ employment psychological problems. Optimized practical paths can continuously reduce occupational psychological pressure, regulate unhealthy mental states, and consolidate students’ mental health, providing practical references for college psychological education and career guidance.
