Porous materials of triazine-based triangular macrocycles synthesized by facile self-cyclization with adsorption/desorption of DMF at 100 mg g ⁻¹

Two macrocycles 3a and 3b were prepared by a self-cyclization approach, and 3a was used to adsorb volatile organic compounds, showing a adsorption capacity for DMF of 100 mg g ⁻¹ and providing direct evidence of DMF adsorption/desorption by ¹ H-NMR.
