This letter reports an experimental demonstration of a phase‐modulated fibre‐array projector for single‐pixel imaging (SPI). The projector electrically controls the relative optical phases of four polarisation‐maintaining fibre (PMF) channels using piezoelectric fibre stretchers. PMF‐array‐based SPI has been demonstrated using thermo‐optic phase modulation. However, demonstrations using fibre‐integrated mechanical phase‐control elements remain limited, particularly for image reconstruction based on measured interference illumination patterns. Two‐channel interference measurements yielded an effective phase‐modulation coefficient of 0.240 ± 0.026 rad/V under monotonically increasing voltage sweeps. A rectangular target mask was reconstructed from photodetector‐acquired single‐pixel signals. Measured interference illumination patterns obtained at 25 voltage states were used as the measurement matrix. In three repeated measurements, the reconstructed images showed a correlation coefficient of 0.74 ± 0.05 with the target mask and a centroid‐position error of 1.5 ± 1.3 pixels. These results demonstrate that the proposed fibre‐array projector functions as a structured illumination source for SPI.
