Phytoseiids play a fundamental role in biological control, but their diversity in the Brazilian Amazon remains poorly known. This publication reports the phytoseiids found in a survey conducted in Parauapebas, southeastern Pará. In July 2023, plant parts of spontaneous and cultivated plants were collected at different sites of that municipality. In total, 941 specimens representing 53 species of 19 genera were collected. The most abundant were Euseius concordis (Chant) (98), Iphiseiodes zuluagai Denmark & Muma (74), Euseius citrifolius Denmark & Muma (70), Amblyseius aerialis (Muma) (68) and Typhlodromalus aripo De Leon (56), together accounting for 38.9% of all specimens. Amblyseius Berlese was the most diverse genus (11 species), followed by Proprioseiopsis Muma (7) and Neoseiulus Hughes (6). Euseius concordis occurred on the largest number of plants (29), followed by E. citrifolius (22) and I. zuluagai (19). Three species are reported for the first time from Brazil, Neoseiulus longispinosus (Evans), Phytoscutus aff. vaughni (Chant & Baker) and Phytoseius rhabdifer De Leon; two new species were found, one of which (Typhlodromalus carajaensis Lacerda, Castilho & Moraes n. sp.) is here described; 48 other species were found, raising to 62 the total number of species known from Pará.
