Photochemical reactivity of pyrazolo[3,4- b ]hydroquinolin-5-ones: experimental and computational studies

Substitution effects of a series of pyrazolo[3,4- b ]hydroquinolin-5-ones were studied photochemically and computationally. Two types of Oxidative and Non-oxidative photoreaction, with retention and elimination of the C4-substitution, were observed.
