Persistent headache in enteric fever: Secondary intracranial hypertension in an adult from an endemic region

Intracranial hypertension is primarily idiopathic; it does, however, rarely occur secondary to systemic infections, such as enteric fever which is common in tropical regions. Neurological complications are recognised, but are rarely reported as linked.
