The article analyzes the growth and fruiting of hybrid pairs of domestic apple trees in different cross-breeding combinations in the Krutovsky Botanical Garden. Research on 20-year-old hybrid pairs revealed cross-breeding combinations that resulted in rapid growth in height, crown diameter, and trunk diameter, which is an important indicator for selecting ornamental plant species (Nobilis x Zelenoe Krutovskogo, Grushovka moskovskaya x Korichnoye polosatoe, Krasnoyarskiy sibiryak x Antipaskhalnoye, and Belyy naliv x Antipaskhalnoye). Specimens have been selected that are characterized by an early onset of the reproductive phase and a high yield (Krasnoyarskiy sibiryak x Antipaskhalnoye cross-breeding combination), regular fruiting (Zolotoy ship x Zelenoye Krutovskogo hybrid No. 1-7), and large fruits (Grushovka moskovskaya x Krasnoyarskiy sibiryak, Krasnoyarskiy sibiryak x Antipaskhalnoye, and Belyy Naliv x Antipaskhalnoye). It has been established that the rounded-conical shape of fruits occurs in hybrid plants No. 1-12 (Nobilis x Zelenoe Krutovskogo), No. 1-14 and No. 1-15 (Krasnoyarskiy siberyak x Grushovka moskovskaya).
