Pathway to Independence: the next generation of developmental biology

Launched in 2022, Development's Pathway to Independence (PI) programme, aims to support talented postdocs from around the world as they transition to their first independent position. 2026 welcomes our fourth cohort of eight PI fellows, and here we hear how their research plans will shape the future of their fields as the next generation of the developmental biology community.
