A 9-year-old male with idiopathic chronic pancreatitis had a preoperative Izbicki pain score of 41. He underwent lateral pancreaticojejunostomy using the Partington–Rochelle procedure. At 3-month follow-up, the score decreased to 0, indicating complete pain resolution. The procedure provided effective pain relief while preserving pancreatic endocrine and exocrine function.
