C-Glycosides represent an important class of carbohydrate derivatives known for their diverse and significant biological activities. Among them, 2-deoxy-aryl-C-glycosides have attracted considerable attention owing to their presence in various natural products and medicinal plants, as well as their promising pharmacological properties. In this context, the present chapter provides a comprehensive overview of foundational methodologies and recent advancements in palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling strategies for the construction of 2-deoxy-aryl-C-glycosides. Special emphasis is placed on the glycal framework, a highly versatile and strategically valuable precursor with inherent C1-C2 unsaturation, which enables efficient nucleophilic activation and stereocontrolled aryl incorporation at the anomeric position.
