Ultra‐thin glass (UTG) has been widely used in flexible screens of modern consumer electronics products to reduce weight and improve bending performance. At present, UTG's fatigue performance analysis method is limited to using bending machines to conduct experiments that consume a lot of time and cost. This paper presents a finite element analysis method for evaluating the bending fatigue life of UTG. First, a U‐bend simulation model of UTG is established. Then fatigue life simulation analysis is carried out using fatigue tools. Simulation results show that the fatigue life of UTG is affected by thickness and bending radius. When the thickness of the UTG increased from 56μm to 100μm, the fatigue life decreased from 3.2107 times to 1217 times. When the bending radius of a UTG with a thickness of 70μm was reduced from 7mm to 5mm, the fatigue life was reduced from 3.9108 times to 96868 times. The analysis method proposed in this paper can give specific fatigue life and stress distribution, predict the location of fatigue damage to a certain extent, improve UTG testing efficiency, and reduce time costs.
