Optimisation of the gelation process and performance characterisation of nitrogen-containing Guanylurea double-based explosive materials through rheological modelling and parameter coupling analysis

Capillary rheometry/modelling show nitroguanidine double-base propellants pseudoplastic under coupled gel time, temp., solvent ratio and solvent/NC ratios; model yields optimum gelation (80 min, 50 °C, 2 : 3, 0.5) for stable burn and good mechanics.
