One‐Step Preparation and Characterization of Cu‐Y Zeolite Denitration Catalyst
Xue Mi, Yan Du, Zijing An, Di Mao, Chengyang YinABSTRACT
Cu‐TETA complexes generated from triethylenetetramine and CuSO 4 ·5H 2 O were used to synthesize Cu‐Y catalysts using a one‐step hydrothermal synthesis method. For comparison, Cu‐Y‐IE was synthesized using a traditional ion exchange method. XRD, SEM, UV–Vis, XPS, NH 3 ‐TPD, and H 2 ‐TPR characterization were used to characterize these synthesized catalysts, as well as tested for NH 3 ‐SCR activity. It was found that Cu‐Y catalyst synthesized by one‐step hydrothermal synthesis had higher catalytic activity, especially low‐temperature activity than Cu‐Y‐IE catalyst due to the higher Cu + content and appropriate acid sites. The NO x conversion remained above 95% in the operating temperature range of 125∼375 °C.
