One-pot metal-free access to uracil–benzofuran bis-heterocycles: synthesis and DFT insights
Fatemeh Rafiee, Saba Sarabi, Mina GhiasiUracil–benzofuran bis-heterocycles were synthesized under base-catalyzed conditions, without the need for transition-metal catalysts. The electronic structure and relative energies of the products were also investigated by the DFT calculations.
