On the issue of using multimodal text in teaching verb types in Russian as a foreign language
Galina AsonovaThis article explores the importance of using multimodal text and the category of multimodality in teaching verb aspects in Russian as a foreign language. The article examines the relationship between multimodality and its perception by foreign students when studying the category of aspect. The purpose of the study is to identify the influence of multimodality and multimodal text on the level of perception of the lexical and grammatical capabilities of the text. The article analyzes the need and practical significance of a modern digital interactive resource that facilitates more effective assimilation of the grammatical category of verb aspect. The need to use multimodality in the educational process when teaching verb aspects is substantiated. Visualization techniques that facilitate the most effective perception of the educational material are outlined. The semantic characteristics of the category of multimodality in the educational process are determined, which contributes to improving the quality of education for foreign students studying the grammatical category of aspectuality (verb aspect). The formal characteristics of the verb aspect in the Russian language are described. The types of multimodal text, the concepts of mode and cognitive load, and the analysis of examples of texts based on the category of multimodality are discussed. Methods for memorizing lexical and grammatical educational material are identified. The errors made by foreign students are analyzed using the example of a traditional method of teaching verb types and a modern method of teaching verb types based on multimodal text.
