The prompt invites noticing minor, easily overlooked fieldwork moments that linger. It is inspired by an artistic devising practice, Affect Theater that blends anthropology and theater. Collaborative devising uses theatrical elements and non‐theatrical materials to slow thinking, decenter text, and create affective, sensory ethnographic translations through performance, writing, and creative processes.
