Old Believer motives in the work of the poet Nikolai Klyuev and milestones in his biography

The paper considers the Old Believer roots of the work of the famous Russian poet of the XX century Nikolai Klyuev. The author pays special attention to archaic and folklore elements in Klyuev’s poetic speech. Of great interest are the author’s conclusions about the humanistic basis of this poet’s last verses and poems associated with his rejection of collectivization and the ruin of the Russian peasantry.
