Observation of optical lattices of orbital angular momentum beams in time-varying random media

The properties of optical lattices of the orbital angular momentum (OAM) beams are severely destroyed in time-varying random media, and aperture diffraction of the OAM beams would be completely contaminated. Here, we report experimental observation of optical lattices of the OAM beams in time-varying random media, and aperture diffraction patterns of the OAM beams are unveiled. It is observed in our designed experimental system that the influence of time-varying random media can be effectively eliminated to unveil high-quality optical lattices, leading to accurate recognition of OAM modes. This work opens up an avenue for structured light to be used in various scenarios.
