Nurturing a healthy personality within the framework of existential pedagogy

R. Kasimov

This article addresses the issue of educating the younger generation in the context of a transforming educational environment, which requires finding productive forms and methods of child socialization. Approaches to the development and growth of a healthy personality are examined, enabling them to realize social activity and well-being based on their self-determination and personal life plan. Key conceptual approaches to nurturing a healthy personality focused on maintaining and improving their health in the educational environment are proposed. Healthy activities that shape a subjective position toward maintaining and improving one's health are identified. This article presents an algorithm for the development of a healthy personality, oriented toward a specific ideal of life. This algorithm allows the teacher to gradually guide the student through the process of self-determination, life planning, overcoming psychological barriers and internal obstacles that hinder their independent action, and selecting appropriate pedagogical methods based on the guiding principles of M.I. Rozhkov's existential pedagogy. Methods are proposed for assessing the student's competencies in healthy activities, their commitment to a healthy lifestyle, and the development of their subjective position toward maintaining and improving their health.
