As drilling depth increases, oil and gas exploration faces a higher risk of blowout accidents. Numerical simulation of gas/liquid two-phase flow in wellbores is essential for understanding flow behavior during drilling and well control. The lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is well-suited for simulating multiphase flows because of its simple interface treatment and high parallel efficiency. However, its application to bubble migration and well-killing processes remains limited. In this study, the immersed boundary method (IBM) and Shan-Chen pseudopotential model (SCM) are integrated into LBM to develop a coupled multiphase flow model (LBM-IBM-SCM) for wellbore flow simulation. The model is validated against benchmark cases and applied to investigate flow characteristics during well killing. Results show that the proposed model accurately captures gas-migration and fluid-flow behavior while providing natural gas/liquid interface evolution and high computational efficiency, supporting the application of LBM in well-control simulations.
