NON-PERFORATING INTERNAL RESORPTION – DIAGNOSIS AND ENDODONTIC MANAGEMENT IN MAXILLARY LATERAL INCISOR
Vineet Agrawal, Arpit Shah, Sonali Kapoor- General Medicine
Internal resorption is the pathologic conditiondue to inflamed pulp and the clastic precursor cells recruiting through the blood vessels. Treatment of internal resorption may be an endodontic challenge if not diagnosed and treated correctly. Recent advances in imaging technologies and material science enabled the clinician to visualize the defect 3 dimensionally and repair them with bioactive materials with adequate sealing. This case report describes a diagnosis of a non-perforating internal resorption using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and its endodontic management using Biodentine. KeyWords: Internal root resorption, CBCT, Biodentine
