During the resistance war against French colonialism (1945 - 1954), Khanh Hoa was a strategically important area in the South Central region, where the French colonialists concentrated on building a dense system of outposts and watchtowers to implement their "pacification" policy, control the population, secure strategic transportation routes, and isolate the resistance forces. In response, the army and people of Khanh Hoa creatively applied military art and people's war, developed guerrilla warfare, and organized diverse and flexible combat tactics to attack the system of outposts and watchtowers, thereby weakening the enemy's occupation apparatus. This article analyzes the military art and offensive tactics employed by the army and people of Khanh Hoa in the resistance war against French colonialism during the period 1950 - 1954. It clarifies the combat methods, the coordination between local armed forces and the civilians, and the integration between military and political struggle with enemy proselytization. Through this, it affirms the role of local military art in undermining the French colonial "pacification" policy in Khanh Hoa and the South Central region.
