New Mineral Names

Abstract

This edition of New Mineral Names provides selected information for the newly approved minerals, nomenclature, and classification changes from the period February to July 2026, as well as brief summaries of some new mineral species published from February through August 2026. All minerals presented have been approved by the International Mineralogical Association Commission on New Minerals, Nomenclature and Classification (IMA-CNMNC).
