Neural Sensory and Emotional Effects of Chitosan-Citrus Essential Oil Films: Aromatic Regulation for Psychiatric Disorders, Anxiety and Negative Stress

Objective
Contemporary people often suffer from long-term psychological pressure and frequent emotional disorders. Mental health levels decline continuously. Mental states remain unstable for a long time. Aromatic molecules from natural fruits and vegetables show obvious regulatory effects on mental states. This study aims to explore the neural sensory effects of chitosan-citrus essential oil antibacterial films on fruit and vegetable flavor retention. It clarifies the emotional regulation mechanism mediated by aromatic molecules. It provides a new interdisciplinary path for relieving psychological pressure and improving mental health.
Subjects and Methods
Fresh fruits and vegetables are selected as experimental objects. Sixty volunteers with mild psychological anxiety are recruited as evaluators. The flavor retention effect of the composite film is tested systematically. Neural sensory tests are carried out. Emotional evaluation scales are adopted. The correlation between aromatic molecules, sensory perception and mental state is analyzed in depth. The influence mechanism of aroma on psychological regulation is revealed.
Results
The chitosan-citrus essential oil antibacterial film effectively retains aromatic molecules of fruits and vegetables. The released aroma significantly alleviates volunteers’ psychological pressure. It improves various negative emotional states. It stabilizes individual mental conditions. It presents an obvious neural sensory regulation effect on emotional health and mental state maintenance.
Conclusions
Chitosan-citrus essential oil antibacterial films realize efficient flavor and aromatic molecule retention. The sustained-release aromatic molecules mediate stable emotional regulation. They relieve psychological pressure effectively. They protect mental health comprehensively. The study provides a new idea for the innovative integration of food fresh-keeping technology and mental health care.
