Natural gum-based nanocomposite materials for the photocatalytic degradation of dye pollutants in wastewater: a review of recent advances, technology readiness levels, environmental threats, innovative pathways, and AI integration

Natural gum-based nanomaterials as green photocatalysts for dye degradation were reviewed, and the findings revealed that the presence of natural gum in the composite enhances ^· OH/O ₂ ˙ ⁻ generation, e ⁻ /h ⁺ separation/transfer, and improves performance.
